About Ped-Tech

The beginning of "Ped-Tech Orthotics" started 16 years ago with our founder, Albert ("Bud") Missiaen.  Bud entered the business and received his initial training with another company.  Over the years, as the technology evolved, and the quality and function ability of orthotics kept improving, Bud continued to hone his skills and knowledge as a pedorthic technician.  Next to come along was Roger Gelin, joined shortly thereafter by his wife, Suzy, who, after receiving their initial training, began working as pedorthic technicians under Bud's watchful eye and tutelage.  Finally, Dan and Jan Hanna joined us at Ped-Tech Orthotics, to complete our pedorthic management team.

Since that time, the "Ped-Tech" family has grown rapidly to include many associates and distributors across Western Canada and the USA. 

All our people are trained by "Ped-Tech Orthotics" as pedorthic technicians, fully equipped and able to serve the needs and requirements of their customers.  In addition, outside training courses are available from time to time, allowing our pedorthic technicians to attend and add to their base of knowledge pertaining to the bio-mechanical functions and conditions of the foot.

"Ped-Tech" has evolved so that we now have the materials for our orthotics produced exclusively for our company to our specifications, allowing our distributors and associates to provide all of our customers with an orthotic of the very highest quality and functionability.  We believe the "Ped-Tech" orthotics to be the finest in the industry, thus allowing us to offer our customers "Ped-Tech"'s LIFETIME GUARANTEE against cracking, splitting, chipping, breaking, or deformation.

In addition, "Ped-Tech" offers other products including a very effective nail fungal product, a dry skin cream, and coming soon - an athlete's foot treatment product.
